Role Overview:
The Sales HR Business Partner role is a critical position responsible for aligning HR strategies with the business objectives of the sales organization. This role acts as a strategic advisor to sales leadership, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters. The Sales HRBP collaborates closely with sales managers and employees to foster a high-performance culture, drive employee engagement, and ensure effective talent management practices. This role directly impacts the success of the sales team by enabling them to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ultimately contributing to increased revenue and market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achievement of sales goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to sales managers on employee relations issues, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for sales positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales employees.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs for the sales organization, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company policies.
- Lead the performance management process for sales employees, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and insights, and develop recommendations for improvement.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Manage talent management initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Proven expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and talent management.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the unique challenges faced by sales organizations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably supporting a sales organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment in Bangalore.
