
Role Overview:
The Sales HR Business Partner will work closely with the sales leadership team to drive people strategy, enhance productivity, and ensure seamless alignment between business goals and people initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of sales dynamics, manpower planning, performance management, and engagement for large and distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic HR partner to Sales leaders for assigned business units or regions.
- Translate business priorities into actionable HR strategies and initiatives.
- Partner with business heads on workforce planning, productivity enhancement, and capability building.
2. Talent Acquisition & Deployment
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely hiring of quality manpower across sales channels.
- Support regional and zonal sales teams in effective manpower planning and onboarding processes.
3. Performance Management & Rewards
- Drive goal-setting, mid-year, and annual performance review processes for sales employees.
- Monitor productivity metrics and link business outcomes with performance and incentives.
- Support implementation of sales incentive schemes and variable pay programs.
4. Learning & Development
- Identify skill gaps within the sales force and partner with L&D for capability enhancement programs.
- Facilitate functional and behavioral training interventions to drive performance excellence.
5. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Drive engagement programs, R&R initiatives, and employee connects across regions.
- Analyze attrition trends and implement proactive retention measures.
- Build a positive and inclusive culture aligned with Aditya Birla Capital values.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure timely completion of HR processes - confirmation, transfers, payroll inputs, etc.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

- Strong understanding of sales HR dynamics (preferably in BFSI).
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business metrics.
- High level of initiative, ownership, and execution orientation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA / PGDM in HR from a reputed institute.
- 5-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a Sales HR / BHR role (preferably BFSI / NBFC / Insurance domain).
