Role Overview:
The Sales Head will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling the Relationship Manager (RM) organisation. This role will own revenue growth, productivity, talent acquisition, and sales culture, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive sustainable, compliant, and scalable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Building:
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain Relationship Managers (RMs) and Team Leaders (TLs)
- Establish structured sales processes, productivity frameworks, and performance governance
- Build a high-performance, ethical, and client-focused sales culture
2. Revenue & Business Ownership:
- Own end-to-end revenue delivery across RM teams
- Define and monitor sales targets, KPIs, and incentive structures
- Drive consistent revenue growth while ensuring strong client outcomes and compliance
3. Talent Strategy & Culture Development:
- Leverage industry networks to attract and develop top-performing wealth sales professionals
- Build leadership depth, succession planning, and talent pipelines
- Foster a performance-oriented, collaborative, and compliance-driven culture
4. Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration:
- Partner with Product, Learning & Development, Compliance, and Senior Leadership teams
- Align sales strategy with product roadmap and advisory frameworks
- Support training initiatives and leadership development programs
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, people management, and coaching capabilities
- Deep domain expertise in wealth management and HNI/affluent advisory
- Proven experience in revenue planning, P&L ownership, and execution
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational leadership
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- High standards of integrity with a compliance-first approach
Mandatory Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in wealth management focused on affluent/HNI clients
- Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role (Sales Head / Business Head / Regional Head)
- Demonstrated success in scaling RM teams and driving revenue growth
- Strong professional network within wealth management or financial services
- Experience building structured, high-performing sales organisations
