Sales Head Mumbai - DST (Direct Selling Team)

Location: Mumbai

Industry: Housing Finance / NBFC

Role Summary:

The Sales Head - DST will be responsible for driving home loan and LAP (Loan Against Property) business through the Direct Selling Team channel for Prime Business . The role involves building, managing, and scaling a high-performing DST network to achieve aggressive business targets across Mumbai and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Growth & Revenue Generation:

- Drive home loan and LAP sourcing through DST channel

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

- Identify new markets and micro-markets for expansion

- Develop strategies to increase market share in Mumbai

2. DST Network Development:

- Recruit, onboard, and manage DSTs (freelancers/DSAs)

- Build a strong and productive DST ecosystem

- Maintain engagement and productivity of channel partners

- Ensure regular training and capability building of DSTs

3. Team Management:

- Lead and manage a team of Area/Cluster Sales Managers

- Set performance goals and monitor team productivity

- Conduct regular reviews, field visits, and performance coaching

4. Channel Relationship Management:

- Maintain strong relationships with key DST partners

- Resolve escalations and ensure partner satisfaction

- Drive loyalty and retention programs for DSTs

5. Credit & Compliance Coordination:

- Work closely with credit and operations teams for smooth processing

- Ensure quality sourcing with minimal delinquencies

- Maintain adherence to regulatory and internal compliance norms

6. Market Intelligence:

- Track competitor activities, pricing, and product offerings

- Provide feedback to product and policy teams

- Suggest new product features based on market demand

Key Requirements:

Experience:

- 10-15 years in sales within Banking/NBFC/HFC

- Strong experience in DST/DSA channel for home loans or LAP

- Proven track record of achieving high sales targets

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent networking and relationship management abilities

- Deep understanding of mortgage products and credit processes

- Strategic thinking with execution capability

Education:

- Graduate (MBA/PGDM preferred)

- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Disbursement volumes (Home Loans & LAP)

- DST productivity and activation rate

- Cost per acquisition

- Portfolio quality (delinquency levels)

- Market share in assigned geography

Reporting To National Sales Head / Business Head
