Qualification: MBA (Sales & Marketing) or equivalent

Roles and Responsibility:

The Sales Head - West India will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding distribution, and strengthening our brand presence across key markets in Western India. This role requires a strategic sales leader with strong experience in the alco-bev industry and a deep understanding of trade dynamics, channel management, and brand-building at the regional level.

Key Responsibilities:

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for retail and on-trade channels.

- Develop channel-specific sales strategies for modern trade, general trade, and on-trade.

- Drive brand placement and availability across all relevant outlets.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities, distributors, and key accounts.

- Plan and execute trade activations and consumer promotions.

- Ensure effective distributor management and secondary sales reporting.

- Strengthen relationships with key on-trade accounts and hotel chains.

- Ensure compliance with state excise laws and regulatory frameworks.

- Monitor and control credit, claims, and distributor performance metrics.

Requirements:

- 10-20 years of sales experience in liquor, beverages, or FMCG (with at least 10 years in a leadership role).

- Strong understanding of state excise laws, trade structures, and distribution networks in Maharashtra, Goa, Daman & Diu.

- Proven track record in leading large sales teams and achieving regional targets.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

- proven experience in the beverage alcohol industry (spirits experience preferred)
