About the Job We are looking for an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will have a background in field sales with 2- 3 people reporting to them. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the logistics industry, specifically in freight forwarding companies. Candidates with a Tier 1 engineering/MBA degree and on- ground sales experience will be given preference. Responsibilities - Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets. - Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities. - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. - Conduct market research and stay up- to- date with industry trends. - Work closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services. - Collaborate with other departments to provide the best customer experience. - Prepare and submit sales reports to senior management. Requirements - A Bachelor's degree in engineering or an MBA from a Tier 1 institution. - At least 4 years of experience in the logistics industry, with a focus on freight forwarding. - Proven track record of achieving sales targets. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to travel frequently for on- ground sales activities. - Strong analytical and problem- solving skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other sales- related software.
