Role Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager / Business Development Manager with a background in General Insurance to drive business growth, expand our corporate client base, and manage key accounts.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong product knowledge across insurance lines, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to achieve business targets effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute new business development activities to grow the companys market share in the corporate insurance segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and TPAs.
- Ensure timely delivery of targets, proposals, and client deliverables.
- Demonstrate sound technical knowledge of General Insurance Products, including Property, Liability, Health, Motor, Engineering, and Group Mediclaim.
- Conduct client meetings, risk profiling, and policy presentations to identify appropriate solutions.
- Handle client support, policy servicing, and complaint resolution efficiently.
- Network through referrals, events, and other channels to generate new business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities.
- Stay updated on market trends, product developments, and regulatory guidelines.
- Be open to performing fieldwork and client visits as required by the BD role.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General Insurance Sales / Business Development.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and corporate risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven attitude and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
