Sales Accounting Manager

Job Description :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Accounting Manager to oversee sales accounting operations, revenue reconciliation, financial reporting, and commercial accounting processes.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in accounting principles, sales finance, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and ERP systems while partnering with sales and finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end sales accounting activities, including revenue accounting and sales reconciliations.

- Ensure accurate recording of sales transactions, customer invoices, credit notes, and adjustments.

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reconciliations.

- Validate sales bookings, revenue recognition, discounts, incentives, rebates, and commissions.

- Monitor receivables, collections, and outstanding balances in coordination with business teams.

- Prepare financial reports related to sales performance, revenue, and commercial transactions.

- Collaborate with sales, finance, taxation, and audit teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.

- Handle GST-related accounting, tax reconciliations, and audit support.

- Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

- Maintain master data related to customers, pricing, and commercial agreements.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

- Drive process improvements and automation within sales accounting functions.

- Work with ERP systems to improve financial reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com / B.Com.

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and revenue recognition.

- Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
