Role Summary

Sai Green Mobility Private Limited is seeking a dynamic Project Finance Specialist to support the financial planning, evaluation, and execution of strategic infrastructure and mobility projects including Personal Rapid Transit (PRT), POD Taxi Systems, Ropeway Projects, EV Bus Operations, EV Charging Infrastructure, and Smart Mobility initiatives.


The role will be responsible for developing financial models, evaluating project viability, supporting debt and equity fund raising, preparing investment proposals, coordinating lender due diligence, and assisting in financial closure of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills with experience in project finance, infrastructure advisory, investment banking, transaction advisory, credit rating, or private equity/venture capital environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance & Financial Modelling

- Develop and maintain integrated financial models for infrastructure and mobility projects.

- Perform project feasibility studies, investment analysis, scenario modelling, and sensitivity analysis.

- Evaluate project IRR, Equity IRR, NPV, DSCR, payback period, and other investment metrics.

- Support preparation of project financial projections and business plans.

Fund Raising & Financial Closure

- Support debt and equity fund-raising initiatives by preparing lender and investor presentations.

- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, PE/VC funds, infrastructure funds, and investors.

- Assist in financial due diligence, data room management, and financial closure activities.

- Support documentation for project financing and funding approvals.

Investment & Commercial Analysis

- Evaluate commercial viability of new projects and strategic investments.

- Conduct financial benchmarking, market research, and industry analysis.

- Review project assumptions, revenue models, operating costs, and capital expenditure.

- Prepare investment memorandums and management presentations.

Stakeholder Coordination

- Coordinate with Business Development, Engineering, Projects, Legal, and Finance teams.

- Work with external advisors, consultants, lenders, and rating agencies during project evaluations.

- Support negotiations with financial institutions and investment partners.

- Ensure timely submission of financial information required for funding processes.

Reporting & Compliance

- Prepare periodic project finance reports, dashboards, and investment trackers.

- Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets and funding milestones.

- Support compliance with financing agreements and lender reporting requirements.

- Maintain financial documentation and investment records.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification

- CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA (Level I/II) or equivalent qualification.

- Additional certifications in Financial Modelling or Project Finance will be an advantage.

Experience

- 4-6 years of experience in Project Finance, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory, Credit Rating, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Corporate Finance.

- Experience in Infrastructure, Transportation, Renewable Energy, Urban Mobility, EPC, or Industrial Projects preferred.

- Strong exposure to financial modelling and project appraisal.
