Role Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development person to lead client engagement and market development for cutting-edge Automated Transit System, Ropeway mobility solutions and Retrofit. The ideal candidate will actively interface with government bodies, public-sector undertakings, and urban transport authorities to generate leads and promote our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for Autonomous Rapid Transit / Ropeway/Retrofit working with government agencies, municipal corporations, urban development authorities, and private infrastructure firms.

- Proposal and Bid Leadership: Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact presentations, proposals, and tenders, ensuring alignment with client needs and compliance with tendering requirements.

- Market and Policy Expertise: Conduct advanced market intelligence, competitor analysis, and track policy developments in urban transportation, smart cities, and PPP frameworks to position the company as a market leader.

- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, and project management teams to ensure seamless bid submissions, contract execution, and project delivery.

- Industry Representation: Represent the company at high-profile industry conferences, government forums, and stakeholder meetings, establishing thought leadership and enhancing brand visibility.

- Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic alliances with technology providers, urban planners, and global stakeholders to support the deployment and scalability of the business.

- Contract Negotiation and Closure: Lead high-stakes negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with organizational goals.

- Advocacy and Policy Influence: Advocate for the integration of Autonomous Rapid Transit / Ropeway/ Retrofit systems in urban planning and policy frameworks, positioning the Autonomous Rapid Transit / Ropeway/Retrofit as a cornerstone of sustainable mobility solutions.

- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior business development team members, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue growth, client acquisition, and project milestones, to senior leadership.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: 10-15 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or account management, with a focus on urban mobility, infrastructure, or transportation sectors.

- Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of urban transport projects, government procurement processes, and PPP models such as Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT), Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM), Swiss Challenge, and Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT).

- Leadership and Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to engage executives, government officials, and diverse stakeholders.

- Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute long-term business strategies that align with organizational objectives and market trends.

- Analytical Acumen: Expertise in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and policy evaluation to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

- Project Management: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in preparing complex bids, managing tenders, and executing contracts.

- Networking: Extensive network within government bodies, urban development authorities, and infrastructure firms, with a track record of securing high-value contracts.

- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive results in a competitive market.
