Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Head to lead and scale the sales function for a manufacturing-driven organization. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in automotive components or industrial cylinders, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving large-scale B2B sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Leadership:
- Define and execute the overall sales strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Lead national / regional sales teams and build a high-performance sales culture.
- Drive revenue growth across OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers, and industrial customers.
Business Development & Key Accounts:
- Develop and manage strategic key accounts in automotive and cylinder-based industries.
- Build long-term relationships with CXOs, procurement heads, and plant leadership.
- Identify new markets, customers, and product opportunities.
Market Expansion & Planning:
- Oversee demand forecasting, sales planning, and pipeline management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and pricing strategies.
- Support new product introductions and capacity expansion initiatives.
Cross-functional & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with production, QA, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing approvals, and commercial decisions.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, exhibitions, and customer meets.
Governance & Reporting:
- Review sales MIS, forecasts, margins, and performance metrics.
- Present strategic updates and growth plans to senior management / board.
Key Requirements:
- 20+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership within automotive or industrial cylinder manufacturing.
- Strong exposure to OEM sales, industrial clients, and long sales cycles.
- Proven experience managing large sales teams and complex accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Engineering background preferred; MBA is an added advantage.
- Willingness to be based in Vizag.
