Senior Social Media Manager - Global
Location : Bangalore (WFO)
Sagility is looking for a senior, hands-on social media professional to drive our global social media presence - from strategy to execution. This role blends strategic thinking with strong day-to-day execution, owning not just the "what" but the "how" of social media content.
The individual will run content calendars, produce and publish content, manage agencies, and ensure consistent, high-quality output across platforms. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role with global impact, coordinating across regions and translating priorities into compelling, platform-native content.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement Sagility's global social media strategy across corporate and regional channels.
- Translate business, brand, and talent priorities into clear, actionable content plans.
- Own end-to-end execution, from ideation to publishing, across established and emerging platforms.
- Ensure consistency in tone, storytelling, and visual identity across regions.
Content Planning, Creation & Publishing
- Manage global and regional content calendars.
- Write, edit, and publish posts, captions, carousels, short-form content, and campaign assets.
- Produce videos, reels, leader snippets, culture content, and other multimedia assets, working hands-on with teams or vendors.
- Balance brand storytelling, people stories, culture, thought leadership, and business narratives.
Regional Collaboration:
- Work with regional teams to adapt global themes into locally relevant content.
- Review, refine, and improve regional social content to maintain quality and alignment.
- Enable regions with templates, best practices, and campaign guidance while staying closely involved in execution.
Trend Awareness & Platform Best Practices
- Track social media trends, formats, and platform updates relevant to corporate and employer branding.
- Identify trends that align with Sagility's voice and execute them pragmatically.
- Continuously evolve formats, cadence, and storytelling styles.
Leadership & Executive Content Support
- Support leadership and executive social media presence through ideation, writing, and publishing.
- Translate leadership perspectives into clear, authentic, insight-led content.
- Maintain a consistent yet human leadership voice on social platforms.
Measurement & Optimization:
- Track performance across platforms using defined KPIs.
- Use insights to refine content, formats, timing, and messaging.
- Share actionable performance summaries with internal stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies:
- 5-8 years of experience in social media, digital brand, or content-led roles.
- Proven experience personally running social media accounts - not just managing strategy or agencies.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment.
- Hands-on experience creating and managing content calendars and campaigns.
- Comfortable working with design teams, video partners, and agencies - can brief and execute independently.
- Strong understanding of social media channels and content formats from a corporate brand perspective.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution speed and attention to detail.
