The US Tax Senior Manager is responsible for preparing and reviewing US federal and state tax returns, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations, and supporting tax planning and reporting activities from US regulations stand-point. The role involves analysing financial data, maintaining tax documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance.


Experience : 5-7 Years


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review US corporate and partnership tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, etc.)

- Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax reporting.

- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax regulations.

- Assist in preparation of tax provisions and tax reconciliation schedules for quarterly reporting

- Identify potential tax savings and planning opportunities in US

- Conduct research on US tax laws, IRS regulations, and updates.

- Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders for tax-related queries and seeking requisite information

- Maintain proper and clean documentation and workpapers for audit and compliance purposes.

- Support tax notices resolution and IRS & State Department of Revenue correspondence when required.

- Assist in improving tax processes and implementing best practices

Required Qualifications

- US - CPA / EA / CA

- Upto 5 years of core experience in US taxation or public accounting for corporate taxpayers (C-Corp / S-Corp / LLC)

- Strong knowledge of US tax regulations and compliance requirements.

- Experience with tax software such as SourceOne, CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProSystem FX, or Drake.

- Knowledge of US GAAP and tax accounting principles
