Sagility - Manager/Senior Manager - Direct Tax - CA

We are looking for a Direct Tax professional to join our finance team and support the organization in managing tax compliance, advisory, and strategic tax initiatives. The role requires strong technical expertise in Indian direct taxation, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage corporate direct tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax computations and return filings.

- Ensure timely filing of income tax returns, advance tax, and tax provisions in line with regulatory requirements.

- Handle tax assessments, notices, and litigation matters with tax authorities.

- Coordinate with external consultants and auditors on tax matters and regulatory updates.

- Support tax planning initiatives to ensure efficient tax structuring while maintaining compliance.

- Monitor and analyze changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business.

- Work closely with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax implications are considered in key decisions.

- Maintain proper documentation and support for tax audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / relevant qualification in taxation or finance.

- 2-6 years of experience in Direct Tax, preferably in a corporate environment or consulting firm.

- Strong knowledge of Indian Income Tax laws, tax compliance, and assessments.

- Experience in handling tax audits, litigation support, and regulatory interactions.

- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
