
Role Summary
The Associate Director - PMO is responsible for leading and governing a portfolio of client-facing projects focused on innovation, automation, and digital transformation within the Health Insurance domain. This role provides end-to-end project and program management oversight, ensures adherence to PMO governance standards, and serves as a key point of contact for client stakeholders. The role requires strong leadership, disciplined execution, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable outcomes, including AI-enabled and automation-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects and programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery
- Establish and enforce PMO governance, including project planning, execution controls, change management, and reporting
- Serve as a primary client-facing leader, managing executive and operational stakeholder interactions
- Oversee delivery of innovation and automation initiatives, including AI-enabled solutions and process transformation efforts
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, and milestones
- Manage project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and benefits realization
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues; drive timely resolution and escalation when needed
- Provide clear, concise status reporting and insights to senior leadership and client executives
- Lead and mentor project managers and cross-functional delivery teams (onshore and offshore as applicable)
- Ensure alignment with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements, including data privacy and security standards
- Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, tools, and delivery methodologies
