Senior Sales Manager - India
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, promote, and actively support CSE (presumably Civilian, Security, and Emergency or a similar specific sector) sales across India to sustain and significantly grow the business.
- Ensure that monthly orders and sales figures consistently achieve or exceed budget and forecast targets.
- Regularly update sales forecasts for the territory within the PROPHECY tool each month, providing accurate projections.
- Cultivate and maintain close relationships with the Indian Army and prime OEMs such as Bharat, L&T, DRDO, and TATA to secure and expand military business opportunities.
- Maintain existing business and proactively develop new opportunities within key CIVIL market segments, including Metering, IoT, and Medical.
- Provide comprehensive support to our existing distributors to maximize their performance and market reach.
- Continuously engage in prospecting activities and identify new business opportunities, ensuring adherence to internal processing procedures.
- Provide critical information and insights regarding market needs, competitive landscape, and suggest strategic approaches to maintain and enhance our position as a key actor in the assigned territory.
- Suggest and evaluate potential strategic partnerships to accelerate market penetration and drive growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in sales management within the Indian market, particularly in B2B or specialized sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and forecasts.
- Strong experience in account management and business development with large organizations, especially within the Indian Army or defense sector (OEMs).
- Demonstrated ability to identify and penetrate new business opportunities in diverse civil market segments (e.g., Metering, IoT, Medical).
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and reporting tools (experience with PROPHECY is a plus).
- Excellent negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities to assess market needs, competitive landscapes, and formulate strategic responses.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and adherence to ethical standards.
