Safety Incharge - Operations - Ex-Defence Professional

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly disciplined and experienced Safety Incharge - Operations to lead and govern safety across all company-owned assets and locations from the Head Office.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in safety management, risk mitigation, emergency preparedness, and statutory compliance across large campuses or multi-location operations. Candidates with an Ex-Defence background (Army, Navy, or Air Force) and relevant corporate experience in Safety, Facilities, Administration, or Operations will be strongly preferred.

This role demands a mature professional with exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to establish and sustain a robust safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive end-to-end safety operations across all company-owned assets and locations.

- Develop, implement, and continuously enhance organization-wide safety policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory safety regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.

- Conduct periodic safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments while implementing preventive and corrective measures.

- Lead fire & life safety initiatives, emergency preparedness, evacuation planning, and incident response protocols.

- Partner with regional operations, facility teams, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of safety standards.

- Coordinate with external agencies, statutory authorities, facility management partners, and emergency response teams.

- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

- Monitor safety performance through periodic reviews, compliance reporting, and governance dashboards.

- Conduct safety awareness programs, emergency drills, and training sessions to strengthen organizational safety culture.
