Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly specialized Insurance Claims Manager to report directly to the Insurance Head.

This critical role is responsible for comprehensive Insurance and Claims Management across the entire group, with a focus on high-value, complex assets including Biomass, Solar, and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) projects.

The ideal candidate is an expert in structuring, negotiating, and administering complex insurance programs tailored to the full project lifecycle, from construction to operations.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Identification & Coverage Strategy: Proactively identify all insurable risks across the entire group of companies.

You will be responsible for structuring, negotiating, and administering comprehensive insurance programs that ensure appropriate coverage under various insurance policies, tailored precisely to specific needs and detailed risk profiles.

Project Lifecycle Program Management: Expertly manage and administer specialized insurance programs aligned with project lifecycles, including:

- Erection All Risk (EAR) Insurance to cover installation and construction phases.

- Property & Operational Risk Insurance for manufacturing facilities and operational sites.

Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Serve as an expert in conducting detailed risk surveys and facility assessments across all operational assets to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

Complex Claims Management: Take the lead in managing complex and high-value claims, particularly those related to specialized assets such as Biomass, Solar, and BESS projects, ensuring timely resolution and maximum recovery.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven professional experience specializing in corporate insurance, claims management, and risk engineering.

Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of insurance products, specifically EAR (Erection All Risk) and Property/Operational Risk policies.

Specialized Domain Knowledge: Proven experience managing complex claims and conducting risk assessments for Renewable Energy assets (Biomass, Solar) and/or BESS technology is highly preferred.

Negotiation & Structuring: Strong expertise in structuring, negotiating, and administering large, complex corporate insurance programs.

Compliance: Thorough understanding of insurance regulations and standards.

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
