Job Summary:
The ISO Auditor will be responsible for conducting internal and external audits to assess the organization's compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001). This role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audits, identifying non-conformities, and recommending corrective actions to ensure the effectiveness of the organization's management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain audit schedules and plans based on ISO standards and organizational requirements.
- Prepare audit checklists and documentation.
- Conduct audits according to established audit procedures.
- Travel to plants when required, to ensure effective auditing and monitoring of compliance.
- Collect objective evidence through interviews, document reviews, and observation.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of management systems and identify non-conformities.
- Document audit findings and observations accurately and objectively.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that summarize audit findings, non-conformities, and recommendations.
- Present audit findings to management and auditees.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and effectiveness.
- Maintain audit records and documentation.
- Stay updated on relevant ISO standards and industry best practices.
- Recommend improvements to management systems and audit processes.
- Participate in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of quality and compliance within the organization.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience as an auditor for IMS (ISO 9K, 14K & 45K).
- Overall working experience of 10-15 years.
- Experience into manufacturing and power sector, preferably into renewable power sector.
- ISO Auditor certification for relevant ISO standards, specifically ISO 9001.
- Strong understanding of different ISO standards and audit principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using audit software and tools.
