Location: Noida


Experience: 12+ years


Role Description:


Head of tendering is required to help organization prepare and evaluate bids and tenders for valuable contracts. He / She will coordinate and communicate with all the different stakeholders involved, analyze requirements of a tender and develops key solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


Tendering & Bidding


- Manage and lead the tendering team to ensure timely and accurate submissions of tenders.

- Analyse tender documents, identify requirements, and prepare bid responses in line with clients need.

- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all necessary inputs are provided in a timely and accurate manner.

- Evaluate bids, review contracts, and negotiate terms and conditions.

- Monitor and report on the tendering process to senior management, including progress against targets and potential risks.

- Preparation of proposal & cost estimation and cost break down as per the scope of work for the project / job as per the requirements of the tender issued by the Client.

- Handling pre bid activities for the projects.

- Participate in estimate reviews with project teams to ensure scope consistency Competitor Analysis and Inputs for bidding strategy.

- Proactively interact with prospects to increase chances of getting business


Business Development Material, collaterals, getting empanelments and entering JVs

- Exploring and suggesting right JVs along with the basis for their evaluation and adoption to grow business and brand.

- Obtain Project completion certificates from client in collaboration with Project Heads.

- Building solid relationships with Clients, vendors, and distributors, as well as sales and marketing teams.

Understand the environment in which the business operates (economic, financial and industrial) for developing and guiding business plans. Demonstrated Business Development capability in reputed consulting organization(s).

Influencing Communication:

Speed & Quality of communication with internal & external customers. Using communication skills for motivating, Impacting, and Influencing with an intention to persuade, convince, or impress others (individuals or groups) to get them to go along an objective / goal / agenda.

Strong Negotiation Skill - Reaches out to people to improve performance. Guiding and coaching employees towards positive outcomes.

Building bidding team with right organizational values and system, take care of team dynamics, and support the resources for their development and growth.

Planning and Organizing: Aligning organizational strategy to a plan for meeting goals and objectives.

Shows a significant level of effort, persistence, and time commitment to achieve goals. Takes extraordinary measures to solve problems and get work done when the situation calls for it. Doesn't allow mistakes, failure, and other personal crises to undermine results.

Relationships and Customer Management:


Building and managing relations by establishing trust, initiating and developing long term relationships as well as networks with stakeholders, internal and external customers.

- Developing strong prospects pipeline.

- Bid success ratio, capture ratio, cost of client acquisition.

- Achievement of targeted bids.

- Excellence and digital adoption (publications, participation in seminars, bidding efficiency).
