Position Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Associate Investment Banking to join our Investment Banking team and play a key role in M&A advisory, transaction execution, financial modelling, valuation, deal origination and client management.

The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to end-to-end transaction execution, excellent financial modelling and valuation skills, and the ability to work directly with clients, promoters, investors and other transaction stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. M&A & Deal Execution:

- Support and independently manage various stages of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates.

- Manage the preparation of investor presentations, pitch decks, information memorandums, and other strategic financial materials.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, delivering insights, and presenting findings.

- Support preparation and review of transaction documentation and deal-related materials.

2. Financial Modelling & Valuation:

- Build and review detailed 3-statement financial models and transaction models.

- Develop and analyze DCF, Merger, LBO, Accretion/Dilution and scenario/sensitivity models.

- Conduct valuation using DCF, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions and other relevant methodologies.

- Perform financial statement analysis, business analysis and transaction impact assessment.

- Identify key financial and operational drivers and translate them into meaningful valuation insights.

3. Deal Origination & Business Development:

- Conduct industry and market research to identify potential M&A and strategic opportunities.

- Support senior bankers in identifying prospective clients, targets, investors and buyers.

- Prepare pitch books, teasers, Information Memorandums (IMs), CIMs, management presentations and valuation materials.

- Contribute to developing proposals and marketing materials for new mandates.

- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management:

- Participate in client meetings, management discussions and investor interactions.

- Develop strong relationships with promoters, CXOs, PE/VC investors and other key stakeholders.

- Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable transaction strategies.

- Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- 3-4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance or related front-end transaction roles.

- Strong hands-on experience in M&A transaction execution.

- Excellent understanding of Financial Modelling and Valuation.

- Strong proficiency in DCF, Merger Models, LBO, Comparable Companies and Precedent Transactions.

- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles and corporate finance.

- Experience in deal origination, pitching and business development will be highly preferred.

- Strong experience in preparing Pitch Books, Teasers, IMs/CIMs and Management Presentations.

- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

- Exposure to databases such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv/Mergermarket will be an advantage.
