
Position Overview:
Working as a key member of the Fund Administration function of the Business Processing team, this is a hands-on role that requires understanding, background and a genuine desire to drive best-in-class performance. The person should have a strong background in finance and accounts and possess relevant qualifications. The person will work on all Funds Administration activities including but not limited to handling of investments, exits, drawdowns, distributions, carry workings, valuation of investments, LCs and Guarantees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for handling investments and exits and ensuring cash management and bridge availability.
- Responsible for preparation of timely and accurate drawdown workings and distribution analysis to be presented to key stakeholders.
- Prepare drawdown and distribution notices based on approved workings.
- Prepare quarterly reports for investors, annual financial statements, and enable successful closure of audits.
- Obtain an understanding of the Partnership Agreement and prepare carry workings.
- Preparation of valuation as per the latest Private Equity Valuation Guidelines.
- Responsible for preparation of valuation decks.
- Help arrange for closure of the valuation audit with external auditors.
- Prepare data for dissolution of non-active funds and entities.
- Help with setting up new funds.
- Understand LP side letters and help in preparation of data for reporting.
- Responsible for replying to Limited Partner queries.
- Responsible for catering to LP transfer requests.
- Responsible for SPV valuations for specific assets.
- Responsible for compliance certificates to banks.
- Preparation of track records.
- Preparation of quarterly movement of exits.
- Preparation of data for review meetings.
- Preparation of AIM / SAU decks.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA/Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- A good understanding of how private equity works, including its philosophy, disciplines, and value orientation.
- Associate-level knowledge gained within a private equity firm, investment bank, or in firm in the Statutory Audit domain working on financial services clients.
- A passion for sustainability and working in a value-driven organization.
- Exceptional team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.
