The position requires strong analytical capabilities and understanding of both real estate fundamentals and broader investment principles. - Conduct detailed market research and financial analysis to identify attractive real estate investment opportunities - Develop investment theses and recommendations for both direct property investments and real estate funds - Create and maintain financial models for asset valuation, sensitivity analysis, and portfolio performance tracking - Monitor existing portfolio performance including occupancy rates, NOI, and capital improvement projects - Evaluate property operating statements and prepare quarterly performance reports for stakeholders - Analyze market trends, demographics, and economic indicators to inform investment decisions - Research and analyze other asset classes including private equity, fixed income, and alternative investments - Conduct due diligence on potential investments including site visits and property inspections - Model various exit scenarios and recommend optimal disposition strategies for portfolio assets - Track regulatory changes and tax implications affecting real estate investments - Create comprehensive investment committee presentations and portfolio review materials Position Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, real estate market knowledge, and broader investment acumen.
