
Job Description: Project Manager - FMCG (Cross-Functional Program Management)
Role Purpose
The Project Manager will act as the central coordination hub for all cross-functional initiatives across the organization. This role ensures timely execution of projects, drives alignment between functions (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Manufacturing, HR, etc.), tracks progress against defined milestones, identifies risks, and provides high-quality status updates to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a central project tracker covering all strategic and operational projects across functions.
- Define project timelines, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Track progress on a weekly/monthly cadence and highlight deviations from plan.
- Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, HR, and partners.
- Prepare executive dashboards, progress summaries, and decision documents for CXOs.
- Identify roadblocks, resource constraints, or timeline risks early and develop mitigation plans.
- Establish SOPs, project templates, trackers, and communication frameworks.
- Support leadership with analyses, benchmarking, and post-implementation reviews.
Functional Skills
- Strong project management expertise with Agile/Waterfall knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects in a fast-moving FMCG environment.
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI/Tableau.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Behavioral Skills

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business management if not MBA.
- 3-6 years' experience in Project Management / PMO roles within FMCG/Consumer Goods.
- Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile / Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.
