The RSM US Offices in India (USI) supports RSM U.S. risk consulting, transaction advisory, technical accounting, financial consulting, technology and management consulting, tax, and assurance engagement teams by providing access to highly skilled professionals for repeatable business processes over an extended business day. USI is a member of RSM International, the sixth largest global network of independent accounting, tax, and consulting firms.
RSM is seeking a Manager FP&A to support enterprise financial planning, performance analytics, and strategic business partnering for its India operations. This role will play a critical part in driving budgeting and forecasting processes, delivering high-quality management reporting, and providing actionable financial insights to support business decision-making.
The Manager will work closely with the India CFO and leadership team while partnering with global FP&A counterparts to strengthen planning processes, reporting frameworks, and financial visibility across the organization. This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop into a globally aligned FP&A professional within a dynamic and growing finance environment.
Qualification and Minimum Entry Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification
- 6-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial planning, or business finance roles
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with ERP and reporting tools (Workday preferred)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working in matrix or global organizations preferred
Position Responsibilities:
Planning & Business Support:
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and cost center/profit center structures.
- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and forward-looking recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Strengthen cost allocation frameworks and financial planning discipline across departments.
Performance Monitoring & Analytics:
- Drive month-end close analytics, including variance analysis, trend evaluation, and key performance insights.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality management reporting for India leadership and global headquarters.
- Support performance tracking against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities proactively.
Global FP&A Partnership:
- Collaborate closely with global FP&A teams to align reporting frameworks, planning cycles, and performance metrics.
- Support consolidation inputs, HQ reporting requirements, and global planning initiatives.
- Contribute to best-practice adoption and capability building across FP&A processes.
Transformation & Systems Enablement:
- Support Workday transition initiatives and ongoing system enhancements related to planning and reporting.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Strengthen data integrity, reporting governance, and financial dashboard capabilities.
Executive & Leadership Reporting:
- Prepare business performance reports for the India CEO and CFO, delivering clear, actionable insights.
- Support preparation of board-level and senior leadership presentations with robust financial analysis and storytelling.
