Role Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join our organization as a Financial Controller.

The role will be responsible for the overall management of the Finance and Accounts department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.

- Ensure timely preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports for leadership review.

- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings.

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

- Strengthen internal controls and financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders.

- Support management with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

- Supervise and guide the finance and accounts team.

- Assist in cost control initiatives and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.

- Experience in financial reporting, MIS, and budgeting.

- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Up to 7 years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in managing complete finance and accounts functions.

- Prior experience in a similar Financial Controller or senior finance role will be an advantage.
