About the Role:

We are looking for a proficient and meticulous Analyst - Reporting Solutions to lead the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive reporting solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our business.

This role goes beyond mere report generation; it involves understanding business requirements, optimizing data structures, and ensuring the accuracy and usability of all reporting outputs.

You will be a key player in enhancing our data accessibility and business intelligence framework, potentially leading small projects or initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders across various departments to understand their reporting needs, KPIs, and data requirements.

- Report Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of robust and scalable reporting solutions, dashboards, and interactive visualizations.

- Data Integration & Optimization: Work closely with data engineering and IT teams to ensure optimal data sources, data quality, and efficient data flow for reporting purposes.

- Automation & Efficiency: Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes, reduce manual effort, and improve report delivery efficiency.

- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of reports to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and adherence to business rules.

- User Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize reporting tools and interpret data.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of reporting solutions, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed.

- Best Practices: Advocate for and implement best practices in data visualization, report design, and data governance.

- Project Leadership (Potential): Take the lead on specific reporting projects or initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Operations, or a Master's degree in a related quantitative field, is strongly preferred.

- 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, data analysis, or a similar role, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity focusing on reporting solutions.

- Expert proficiency in leading reporting tools and platforms (e., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, Cognos, SSRS).

- Strong SQL skills are mandatory, with experience in complex query writing and database understanding.

- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is highly desirable.

- Solid understanding of data modeling principles and relational databases.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and effectively manage stakeholder expectations
