External Job Description:
1. Total Rewards Strategy & Execution:
- Translate strategy into operational plans, ensuring timely execution of key initiatives across compensation, benefits, and recognition.
2. Annual Compensation Planning:
- Create compensation budgets and manage review processes using planning tools or HCM platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP).
3. Compensation Benchmarking:
- Analyze internal vs. external competitiveness by job family and propose adjustments.
- Maintain and update salary bands, pay mix frameworks, and internal parity metrics.
4. Rewards & Recognition Programs:
- Build recognition frameworks tied to culture, values, and employee engagement metrics.
5. Benefits Management:
- Benchmark benefit offerings against industry standards and propose changes to drive employee value.
- Ensure statutory and compliance adherence in all benefit-related policies.
6. Policy Benchmarking, Harmonization & Design:
- Identify areas for harmonization across grades, business units, or geographies to ensure internal equity and policy consistency.
- Design or revise HR policies (leave, travel, incentives, variable pay, etc.) to align with business needs, compliance standards, and employee expectations.
- Collaborate with legal and audit teams to ensure governance, documentation, and communication of all policies.
7. HR Analytics & Reporting:
- Provide actionable insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions and monitor progress.
8. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:
- Drive internal audits and proactively address compensation and benefit-related risks.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security in handling employee compensation records.
9. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a compensation consultant to internal stakeholders, providing strategic advice and support for people-related decisions.
