Position Title : PR Associate, Roundglass Sports Location: Mohali Position Type: Full-time - You will be responsible for PR and communications for Roundglass Sports. - This role requires the incumbent to manage a wide gamut of Media and Marketing related matters of Punjab Football Club and other sports initiatives under Roundglass Sports (Football, Tennis, Hockey and Golf). - You will collaborate and liaise proactively with internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders like local or national media, Football regulatory bodies like AIFF, AFC etc. , and agencies. - This role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic media professional to accelerate the growth and development of a fast-paced, multi-faceted, niche sports organization, and become an integral part of our journey of wholistic wellbeing to develop self, society, community and nation! What you'll do: - Lead and manage communication strategies and initiatives aligned with the company's objectives and brand guidelines. - Devise and deliver media relations plans to support the strategic and operational objectives of Roundglass Sports in alignment with media management guidelines - Develop and implement thought leadership initiatives for the brand and CXOs to enhance brand visibility and industry positioning. - Establish links with the local media and provide regular reports and pressreleases on club news and opportunities - Manage the PR agency and ensure all deliverables are met - Travel with Punjab Football Club during tournament season - Lead on producing social and digital media content to go across club social channels - Assess and identify potential promotional opportunities - Assist in Club-Press relations, including assistance in the management of media obligations for players, staff and other key stakeholders - Plan regional and national PR engagements for the players and sports initiatives. - Assist with drafting Club statements and communications with approval from the management, and being on call during required times to deal with fast-developing situations in the media spotlight - Ensure the club is promoted to the public and news and opportunities pertaining to the Club are being distributed to relevant stakeholders through appropriate channels - Evaluate and track media coverage of the Club to ensure its alignment with th Company's vision, mission and objectives - Contribute towards and enable the marketing initiatives to drive the commercial growth of the Club - The purpose of the role is to positively promote the image of the Club, through a host of communication / media related tools, and enable the commercial initiatives of the Club. Who we're looking for: - Relevant education in Journalism / Mass Communication / Marketing Communication or a related field - Must have experience of journalistic and reporting experience in the domain of Sports; previous experience working in or around football is highly desirable - Proficient in managing budgets and driving sports media and marketing interventions - Excellent written and spoken English - Good interpersonal skills
