Position Overview
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, connecting with prospective students and parents, and guiding them through Rostrums offerings. You will combine consultative sales with relationship management to build trust, address needs, and convert leads into long-term clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly communicative, and focused on increasing revenue streams through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Conversion:
- Proactively connect with prospective students and parents through calls, meetings, and digital channels.
- Present Rostrums services, mentoring programs, and admissions support.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
- KPIs: Number of leads contacted, conversion % of leads, revenue contribution.
2. Relationship Management:
- Build trust with students and parents by understanding their academic goals.
- Provide timely follow-ups and maintain client satisfaction.
- Serve as the first point of contact for queries and ensure smooth onboarding.
- KPIs: Retention/renewal rate, client satisfaction score, timely response rate.
3. Market Research & Outreach:
- Identify new growth opportunities through school partnerships, events, and webinars.
- Represent Rostrum at fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote our brand.
- KPIs: Partnerships initiated, events attended, new qualified leads generated.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the academics and mentoring team to ensure promises made to clients are delivered effectively.
- Align with the marketing team to optimize lead generation campaigns.
- KPIs: Timely updates shared with internal teams, smooth handover of students to mentors.
5. Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions on CRM systems.
- Share weekly and monthly reports on performance metrics.
- KPIs: Accuracy of CRM entries, timeliness of reporting, lead-to-conversion pipeline health.
What Were Looking For?:
- Bachelors degree (Business, Marketing, Education, or related field).
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relations (education sector preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English proficiency a must).
- Confidence in presenting and engaging with parents and students.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive in following up on leads.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a dynamic environment.
