Job Summary

- The Vice President of Operations will be a senior leader responsible for the strategic planning, management, and optimization of all Pan-India operational activities.

- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the vehicle tracking industry or similar technical operations.

- This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive process efficiency, ensure project excellence, and lead a high-performing team to achieve company objectives.


Key Responsibilities

- Program & Project Management: Lead and oversee the central program management for all multi-location projects across India, ensuring seamless execution, adherence to timelines, and strategic alignment with business goals.

- Technical Operations Management: Manage and optimize all technical operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery, system performance, and technical support.

- Project Leadership: Direct and guide project managers in the execution of various Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) and Intelligent Transport Management System (ITMS) projects, ensuring project milestones are met and technical challenges are resolved promptly.

- Client & Stakeholder Relations: Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to monitor project progress, address challenges, and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction.

- Financial Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end process of project billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions in line with contractual agreements.

- Production & Inventory Management: Spearhead production planning and monitoring, leveraging retail sales data, projections, stock levels, and periodic variance analysis to optimize production schedules and maintain optimum stock levels at the plant, branches, and project sites.

- Operational Efficiency: Implement and manage an issue tracking system to ensure a prompt turnaround time (TAT) for all operational issues and drive initiatives for operational cost optimization without compromising on quality or service standards.

- Process Improvement: Regularly review and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce redundancies, and improve overall performance and scalability.

- Inter-Departmental Coordination: Serve as a key liaison between the operations team, R&D, and software development teams to facilitate timely resolution of technical issues and ensure seamless collaboration on new product development and updates.

- Team Leadership: Champion a culture of team building, continuous training, and leadership by example to foster a highly motivated, skilled, and productive team.

- Management Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive management reports on operational performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with a strong preference for candidates from the vehicle tracking, telematics, or similar technical operations industries.

Age: Minimum of 30 years and maximum of 50 years.

Education:


- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.

- A Master's degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.

Skills:


- Proven expertise in central program management, team leadership, process optimization, and management reporting.

- A deep understanding of technical operations and project lifecycles is essential
