Job Description - Business Head (Bank Card)
About our Client:
- Group has more than 1000 Cr annual business turnover with manpower strength of around 4000.
- Group is based in Delhi & NCR and has pan India presence.
- Mainly deal with e-governance projects
- We have our own Manufacturing facilities.
- The company is growing & expanding its businesses.
The Position:
- Business Head - Bank Card (A Business vertical of the Group) report to the President
- Responsible for Business Development/Sales and operational efficiency, New Client acquisition and customer Service.
Target Candidates:
- Master degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior management role of business development within the Bank Card business
- Strong business acumen and a track record of driving business growth and profitability.
- In-depth knowledge of the Bank Card business, including market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Candidate to have 18-25 years+ of experience in Sales & BD along with reasonable experience in post-sales service.
- Age : 45 - 55 years
- Experience across/over large Geographical regions preferred.
Role:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the business strategic plan, aligning it with the overall organizational goals.
- Identify new market opportunities, assess market trends, and provide recommendations for expanding the business vertical product portfolio.
- Conduct competitor analysis and devise strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- To review the prospects for new business diversification to generate additional revenue
Business & Customer:
- Oversee the sales team, providing guidance and support in achieving sales target.
- Ensuring customer service and quality of the product.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Responsible for timely execution of projects
- Monthly MIS and participation in monthly business reviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
- Promptly and proactively resolution of customer complaints
- Liaise with clients & complied with necessary compliances and other requirements
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the business budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Controlling the cost & wastage
- Set revenue and order book targets and develop strategies to achieve them
- Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare regular financial reports and present them to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies to improve the business unit's profitability.
Team Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership to the business vertical, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
- Identify training and development needs, and implement initiatives to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team.
