About the Role

A leading global investment bank is hiring an Associate for its high-performing M&A team.

This role is a demanding, high-exposure opportunity for a highly motivated individual to execute complex M&A transactions, capital raises, and advisory mandates for clients in the Technology and Industrials sectors.

The Associate acts as the primary link between Analysts and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Execution: Play a critical role in all stages of transaction execution, including target identification, due diligence coordination, and closing.

Financial Modeling & Valuation: Oversee and build sophisticated financial models (LBO, DCF, Comparables, Precedent Transactions) and present valuation analyses to clients and senior bankers.

Pitch Book Creation: Lead the development of client pitch books, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), and management presentations.

Ensure high-quality, error-free client deliverables.

Due Diligence & Documentation: Manage due diligence work streams, coordinating internal and external parties (legal, accounting, regulatory).

Team Management: Train, supervise, and review the work product of Analysts, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings, management presentations, and site visits, serving as a point of contact for day-to-day transaction queries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background: Mandatory MBA in Finance from a top-tier institution.

Technical Expertise: Superior proficiency in advanced financial modeling, valuation techniques, and accounting principles.

Work Ethic: Exceptional drive, resilience, and commitment to working long hours required by the industry.

Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to producing the highest quality work under tight deadlines.

Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEBI/FEMA regulations relevant to M&A and capital markets is preferred
