We are now expanding our business into the burgeoning Electric Vehicle (EV) bus segment and are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to drive our sales and business development efforts.
Position Summary:
1.Strategic Planning & Business Development
- Identify new market opportunities, analyze market trends, and provide recommendations to expand the product portfolio.
- Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and formulate strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Explore and pursue new business diversification opportunities to generate additional revenue.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of business by establishing strong relationships with government agencies, public sector units, and private clients.
- Identify and bid for tenders from various sources on a regular basis.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Set ambitious order book and revenue targets and develop effective strategies to achieve them.
- Oversee the timely execution and completion of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Prepare and present monthly MIS reports and actively participate in monthly business reviews.
Stakeholder & People Management
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and government liaison.
- Proactively and promptly resolve customer complaints to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Ensure the quality of the product meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Manage the business budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Skills
- Proven expertise in handling a full-scale sales and business development portfolio.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with agencies and clients.
- Prior experience in identifying, bidding for, and winning large-scale tenders.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, with experience in overseeing project completion.
- Excellent government liaison and compliance management skills.
- Candidates with experience in the following companies will be given strong preference: Olectra, PMI, JBM, Switch Mobility, EKA Mobility, Chartered Speed, Greencell, Transvolt, Leafybus, Hansa Group, etc.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate, Post-Graduate, MBA, PGDBM, or an equivalent qualification.
Age: Between 38 and 54 years
