
About the Role:
- Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Strategy & Planning will be the linchpin in defining our long-term market trajectory, portfolio strategy (EV, Hydrogen, Traditional ICE), and new business model incubation.
- This high-visibility role involves steering the annual strategic planning cycle and driving high-priority, cross-functional strategic initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning Cycle: Lead the company's annual strategic planning process, including scenario analysis, long-range financial forecasting, and setting strategic objectives and key results (OKRs).
Market Intelligence: Develop a robust market intelligence function, monitoring competitor moves, regulatory changes, and technology shifts (especially in the EV space) to identify threats and opportunities.
New Venture Incubation: Evaluate, structure, and potentially incubate new business lines, strategic alliances, and M&A targets that align with the long-term corporate vision.
Executive Advisory: Act as a thought partner to the CEO and Board on critical strategic choices, resource allocation, and organizational effectiveness.
Performance Monitoring: Implement a rigorous framework for tracking the performance of strategic initiatives, ensuring accountability across business unit heads.
Communication: Prepare and present strategic proposals and performance updates to the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Leadership & Experience: Extensive experience in corporate strategy, preferably in the Automotive, Manufacturing, or related heavy-industry sectors.
MBA Requirement: Must possess an MBA from a top-tier institution.
Analytical & Financial Expertise: Superior ability in financial modeling, investment appraisal, and complex problem-solving.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the global automotive/mobility industry, especially the shift towards electric and sustainable mobility solutions.
Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage complex, multi-functional strategic projects and influence executive-level stakeholders without direct authority.
Presentation Skills: Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives for a senior audience
