JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Training Manager

Department: Learning Development

Location: Kolkata

Reports to: Managing Director

Reported by:

ROLE OBJECTIVE:

As Training Manager, the incumbent:

- Assumes overall responsibility for Training and Brand Awareness.

- Creating tailored training Plans, Implementing various training methods to enhance employees' and business partners' skills and performance

RESPONSIBILITIES:

TRAINING - ( Product lounge wise and Brand wise Training plan)

1. Training on products to our internal GT Sales Team (Team Size 80)

2. Training on our products to our Key Accounts / Opticians (200 in numbers)

3. Training on our products to our MT Senior group like RSM and Cluster Manager (Team Size 20)

4. Training on our products to our Counter Associates over physical and Video (Team Size 400)

PRODUCTION:

1. Taking active part at the time of production.

2. Give input on best-selling and market trend

3. Do some research on competitor products.

BRAND PRESENTATION:

1. Giving Brand Presentations to Clients

Role Expectation:

- Assessing training needs: Training manager identifies the specific skills, knowledge and abilities that employees require to be successful in their roles.

- Understanding the product: Training manager should understand and have a deep knowledge about the products and should be aware about the USP of the Company and Brands.

- Developing training program: Based on the identified training needs, a training manager designs and develops engaging and effective program that align with a company's goals and objectives.

- Delivering training program: A training manager coordinates and delivers training programs to employees and external stake holders.

- Evaluating training effectiveness: Training manager assesses the impact of training programs on employee performance and overall business results.

- Managing training budgets: Training manager develops and manages a training budget, ensuring that training program are cost-effective and deliver a positive return on investment

- Staying up to date with industry trends: Training manager benefits from staying informed about new developments in training and development including emerging technologies, new training methods and best practices in the field

Key Internal Interfaces Key External Interfaces:

- MD : Formulating strategic roadmap for Training Need

- Sales Head: For all execution and training needs and operations.

- Head Marketing: For marketing strategies and training

- Dealers / Distributors: Identify the training needs and for getting feedback inputs on training and product
