Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Business Strategist & Operations Lead to join the Managerial Core Group at Ronak Optik India Pvt. Ltd. This role is critical in shaping organisational direction, driving cross-functional performance, building operational excellence, and enabling strategic decision-making at the highest level.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic vision, business acumen, operational depth, and leadership maturity. This is a high-impact position designed for a professional who can think ahead, solve complex problems, and execute flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Business Growth:
- Lead strategic planning cycles and support the development of long-term business plans.
- Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Evaluate new business models, partnerships, and revenue diversification opportunities.
- Support the Director in strategic meetings, presentations, and board-level discussions.
2. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Analyse end-to-end business operations to identify efficiency gaps and improvement areas.
- Build SOPs, operational dashboards, and performance scorecards.
- Standardise processes across departments to improve productivity, accuracy, and speed.
- Reduce operational bottlenecks and drive measurable improvement in output.
3. Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and Production teams.
- Lead cross-department initiatives to ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
- Drive change management and ensure successful implementation of new systems/policies.
- Monitor departmental performance through KPIs and escalate critical issues.
4. Business Analysis & Decision Support:
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to support major organisational decisions.
- Prepare dashboards, MIS reports, forecasting models, and insights for leadership.
- Analyse ROI, cost structures, pricing strategies, and investment feasibility.
- Present insights in a clear, concise, executive-friendly manner.
5. Project Leadership:
- Lead strategic and operational projects from concept to execution.
- Set timelines, monitor deliverables, manage risks, and ensure on-time completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners/vendors as required.
6. Leadership & Managerial Core Group Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key member of the Managerial Core Group contributing to strategic decisions.
- Participate in leadership discussions shaping business direction and culture.
- Represent the Director in select meetings and cross-department reviews.
- Mentor functional teams and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education:
- MBA / PGDM preferred (Strategy, Operations, Business Management)
Experience:
- 6-12 years of experience in:
- Strategy / Business Excellence / Operations
- Consulting / Corporate Planning / MIS / Business Transformation
- High-growth business environments (Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing preferred)
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Expertise in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), BI tools, project management tools
- Strong business modelling and data interpretation capabilities
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication & executive presence
