
Role Overview:
- The Manager - Strategy & Operations will be a key enabler in shaping the company's future by supporting the executive leadership in identifying, evaluating, and executing high-impact strategic initiatives.
- This role requires a blend of sharp analytical skills, robust business acumen (honed by an MBA), and strong cross-functional project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging industry trends, new business opportunities, and potential threats.
- Develop detailed financial models and business cases to evaluate the viability and potential return on investment (ROI) for new products, services, or market entry strategies.
- Support the annual and quarterly strategic planning cycle by working closely with department heads to define objectives and key results (OKRs) and track progress.
Operational Excellence & Project Management:
- Drive large-scale, cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer experience.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current business processes, designing and implementing data-driven solutions for process optimization.
- Act as a liaison between executive leadership and functional teams ( Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance) to ensure strategic alignment and execution of initiatives.
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare and present high-quality, executive-level presentations and reports synthesizing complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for the C-suite and Board of Directors.
- Facilitate strategic workshops and discussions with senior stakeholders to gain alignment on priorities and action plans.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Background (Mandatory Requirement)
- Full-time MBA or equivalent degree from a Tier-1/Tier-2 institution ( IIMs, XLRI, ISB, FMS, top global B-Schools).
Experience:
- 4-7 years of relevant professional experience post-MBA.
- Proven experience in Strategy Consulting ( McKinsey, Bain, BCG), Internal Strategy, or a Corporate Development/Chief of Staff role.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects from ideation to completion.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to structure ambiguous problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and arrive at sound business recommendations.
- Strong Financial Modeling and Data Analysis capabilities (Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI is a plus).
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior leadership.
- Ownership and Leadership: High level of self-motivation, ability to work independently, and capacity to lead without direct authority
