Role:

We are seeking an experienced M&A professional to provide independent support on Technology-sector sell-side mandates for private companies. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing end-to-end transaction processes and comfortable engaging directly with client leadership teams (including CFOs and senior management).

Role and Responsibilities:

- Lead and contribute to sell-side M&A execution for private technology companies.

- Draft Information Memoranda (IMs) and other marketing materials.

- Conduct detailed buyer universe mapping and outreach research.

- Perform basic valuation analysis (comparable company and precedent transaction benchmarking).

- Manage Virtual Data Room (VDR) setup, population, and buyer Q&A coordination.

- Liaise with clients' finance teams and senior management, demonstrating commercial maturity and professional communication.

- Collaborate effectively with a UK-based deal team and provide proactive updates on progress and insights.

Candidate Profile:

- 5-10 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, with specific exposure to Technology-sector transactions.

- Proven track record of managing or supporting private company sell-side processes end to end.

- Strong understanding of IM drafting, buyer research, process documentation, and transaction analysis.

- Solid financial analysis and valuation skills (basic to intermediate level).

- Excellent communication and client management abilities.

- Proactive, self-directed working style with minimal supervision required.

Desired Background:

- Prior experience in an investment bank, boutique M&A advisory, or consulting environment focused on technology clients.

- Experience interacting with senior client stakeholders, including CFOs and founders.

- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage time zones and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
