Job description:

Role & responsibilities:

- Deliver hands-on sessions in Robotics, CAD, and Programming for school students in an engaging and effective manner.

- Take full ownership of the assigned school programs and ensure quality delivery of sessions.

- Set up, maintain, and manage the school robotics lab and its equipment.

- Implement the TIS curriculum while adapting it as needed for different student levels.

- Facilitate classroom discussions, group projects, and student evaluations.

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with school coordinators and TIS academic team to ensure program success.

- Travel to schools as required, ensuring consistency and commitment to each assignment.

- Provide periodic updates and reports on student performance and program progress.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Strong classroom management and communication skills.

- Prior experience working in schools, delivering STEM courses and maintaining a makerspace

- Solid hands-on knowledge of working with Microbit, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi

- Familiarity with CAD tools like TinkerCAD, Onshape or SolidWorks.

- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, C/C++, or Java.

- Passion for teaching and mentoring school students.

- Self-driven, with the ability to take ownership and responsibility.

- Willingness to travel to schools as per schedule.

- Experience in delivering sessions to large groups of students.

- Ability to troubleshoot technical and behavioural challenges in class.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or Master's degree in Physics/Electronics/IT Education preferred.
