Role Overview:
Head of Business Operations will focus on bringing operational efficiencies in the logistics transport management of the Direct/Indirect Operations of the company's business by cost effective Logistics operations planning, by identifying new Recyclers, Logistics service provider and Material Service provider.
Strengthening existing Recycler network, Logistics network and Material service provider network relationships and by develop a robust logistics/business network to ensure smooth business operations across Pan India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all operations planning and delivery.
- Ensuring to achieve required Gross Margin target.
- Help achieve positive unit economics by defining KPIs and tracking progress against KPIs.
- Ensure optimal levels of business costs for logistics and operations within agreed budgets.
- Manage direct and indirect operations for the region.
- Ensure business sourcing and processing costs/margins align with company expectations.
- Provide input on Market intelligence within the industry.
- Planning and brainstorming for market expansion and pitches.
- Manage stakeholders (internal and external), anchor key accounts, and develop new business relationships.
- Understand stakeholder business needs and collaborate with business teams to design operational action plans.
- Ensuring vendor / partner due diligence is validated and is in-check, before finalizing long-term agreements.
- Ensuring collections are completed within agreed payment cycle, so as to avoid unnecessary and prolonged overdues.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Managing and grooming operations team.
Key Requirements:
- 18 - 25 years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain / Reverse Logistics / Recycling / Waste Management / Consumer durables / FMCG.
- Strong experience in Pan-India logistics and operations, Channel development or recycler/vendor network management, cost optimisation, margin management, business expansion, stakeholder management and team leadership.
- Preferred: Experience in reverse logistics and channel development.
