The Senior Finance Manager role at RK Group in Bangalore is a critical position responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities. This role collaborates closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. The Senior Finance Manager plays a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of business performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, providing insightful commentary and variance analysis to senior management.

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and project evaluations.

- Oversee the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate cost allocation and analysis to improve profitability.

- Manage the internal control framework, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.

- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate completion of the annual audit.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable taxation laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies to protect the organization's financial interests.

- Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and ratio analysis.

- Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models.

- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices, with the ability to analyze cost data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CA preferred.

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is highly desirable.
