Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial controllership functions, including oversight of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
- Handle marketplace payment tracking, reconciliation, and claims management across major e-commerce platforms.
- Drive financial reporting, compliance, and process governance to ensure accuracy and transparency in financial operations.
- Collaborate with Big 4 audit and advisory firms on accounting, indirect taxation (IDT), and statutory audit processes.
- Ensure adherence to strong financial controls, compliance frameworks, and audit standards.
- Work closely with business teams to improve financial processes and operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to process design and implementation, particularly in 0-to-1 finance process set-ups in a high-growth environment.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7 - 12 years of total experience.
- Strong background in financial controllership and finance operations.
- Prior experience in e-commerce or fashion / retail industry (2 - 4 years preferred).
- Hands-on experience in e-commerce marketplace reconciliations, payment cycles, and claims management.
- Proven experience working with Big 4 firms on audit, accounting, and compliance matters.
- Ability to build and streamline financial processes in fast-scaling organizations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
