Role Overview:

As the Finance Controller, you will be a key member of our finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial control and reporting for our Bangalore operations. You will work closely with the CFO, business unit heads, and external auditors to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, maintain a strong internal control environment, and provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This role directly impacts the company's financial health and compliance, contributing to sustainable growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IGAAP and other applicable accounting standards.

- Develop and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard company assets and prevent financial irregularities.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with business unit leaders to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.

- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and pricing strategies.

- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.

- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting processes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

- Proven expertise in developing and implementing internal control frameworks.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.

- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Qualified - Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.
