Risk Support Analyst

Role Overview:

As a Risk Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the risk management functions across Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk. Your day-to-day activities will involve data analysis, report generation, process automation, and providing support to risk managers in their monitoring and assessment activities. You will collaborate closely with risk managers, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of risk data and reports. Your work will directly contribute to the firm's ability to effectively identify, measure, and manage its risk exposures, ultimately safeguarding the organization's financial stability and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and generate insightful risk reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate information for decision-making.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of risk management systems, including SAP BO/SAP Business Objects, ensuring data integrity and system functionality.

- Assist in the validation and reconciliation of risk data, identifying and resolving discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.

- Contribute to the development and documentation of risk management procedures and controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with risk managers to analyze risk exposures, identify trends, and provide insights to support risk mitigation strategies.

- Participate in projects to enhance risk management capabilities, including the implementation of new technologies and processes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights using analytical tools.

- Proven experience in developing and automating data processes using Alteryx.

- Expertise in creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Solid understanding of risk management principles and practices across Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Operational Risk.

- Familiarity with SAP BO/SAP Business Objects or similar reporting platforms.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- 2-8 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
