Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Risk Partner(s) as a trusted expert to evaluate, investigate, and mitigate risks within India.
- Provide analysis and evaluation on risk and control issues, advising LTC teams to ensure risks are well understood, mitigated, and effectively managed.
- Promote and embed a positive continuous risk management culture to improve risk maturity and policy compliance across the organisation.
- Advocate good risk management practices, robust governance, and appropriate risk culture through training, awareness, and education.
- Build and maintain a cross-functional network of internal stakeholders to promote risk awareness and share best practices.
- Ensure adherence to the Group's risk management framework, contributing to the development and implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide daily 1st Line risk opinions and guidance, escalating concerns, breaches, and incidents appropriately.
- Develop and support data privacy and records management capabilities to improve staff understanding and compliance.
- Act as a point of contact for data privacy-related matters, providing guidance aligned with India's Data Privacy laws.
- Promote data privacy best practices and offer advice to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Ensure the effective operation of key processes such as Privacy Impact Assessments, breach management, and privacy complaint resolution.
- Monitor compliance with privacy policies, reporting any gaps, and coordinate remediation activities.
- Escalate policy breaches or non-compliance incidents through appropriate risk and operational reporting lines.
- Produce reports on LTC's risk and privacy progress and present insights to governance committees as required.
- Manage data subject requests including Right to Review and Right to Opt-Out.
Requirements:
- 7-12 years experience working within the three lines of defence model in risk-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of the Group's risk management framework and operational risk management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Experience working in dynamic and evolving environments, using data-driven insights to support risk decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to a wide audience.
- Proven collaboration skills and experience engaging both internal and external partners.
- In-depth understanding of Indian regulatory requirements and privacy law.
- Practical experience applying data protection in large or complex organisations, ideally within the technology sector.
- Education: B. tech, M. tech, B. com, M. com, MBA, any PG.
