Job Overview
Oversee and direct all facets of risk management for company's market operations, ensuring adherence to exchange regulations while safeguarding the company's financial integrity and promoting effective trading practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Risk Management Frameworks: Create tailored frameworks for stock market activities, focusing on:
- Equity Market Risk: Address both systematic and non-systematic risks.
- Derivatives Market Risk: Manage risks associated with futures and options.
- Margin Trading Funding (MTF) Risk: Monitor client exposure and enforce internal limits.
- Liquidity Risk: Ensure the company can meet its financial obligations.
- Stress Testing: Design and execute stress testing scenarios to evaluate portfolio resilience during various market conditions, such as volatility spikes or sector downturns.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Track market data and key risk indicators (KRIs) to proactively identify and mitigate emerging risks.
- Risk Limit Oversight: Supervise risk limits for client positions and trading activities, ensuring compliance with position sizing and leverage guidelines.
- Regulatory Liaison: Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure timely reporting of market risk exposures.

Decision-Making Authority:
- Internal Clients: Establish risk limits for client accounts and authorize margin extensions.
- External Clients: Negotiate risk parameters with clearing houses and manage credit risks linked to counterparty exposure.
Skills that will help you succeed in this role :
- Relevant 7-15 Years or Similar Industry Experience is preferred.
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills are a must.
