Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Risk Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial, operational, and strategic risks. This role involves analyzing data, building risk models, and providing actionable insights to support business decision-making and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and validate risk models to forecast potential exposures.
- Conduct stress testing, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Monitor regulatory guidelines and ensure risk management frameworks are compliant.
- Collaborate with business, finance, and compliance teams to provide risk insights.
- Prepare and present risk reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in developing risk mitigation strategies and recommend improvements in policies/processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in risk management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (X+ years) in risk analysis, model validation, or financial services domain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, R, or other statistical tools.
- Knowledge of Basel guidelines, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
