Purpose of the Role:

To undertake key tasks pertaining to Policy Management for the SME Finance vertical, including drafting Lending Policies (and changes thereto), and monitoring disbursal trends by working closely with all stakeholders like sales, credit, collections, product, operations, compliance etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New policy design & implementation, changes to existing policy in line with company's vision and focus areas, regulatory changes, competition mapping, new product support

2. Maintaining credit policy documents across LOBs

3. Standardization of credit processes as well as documentation - from an operational risk perspective

4. Policy related trainings and frontline support to sales, credit, collections, operations teams

5. Review and monitoring of post disbursal credit activities like PDD monitoring, escrow monitoring, line management

6. Underwriter performance management

7. Industry research

8. System development and automation of policy guidelines

Eligibility Criteria for the Job

Education: MBA / B Com(H)/C.A.

Age: 26 to 32 years

Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in Policy and/or Credit Role

Primary Skill

1. Risk Management, including handling policy work, documentation

2. Understanding of products like LAP, Bill Discounting, Lending to Educational Institutes, Construction Finance - in terms of product frameworks, eligibility assessments, key risks in each category of funding and controls required

3. Ability to develop borrower eligibility assessment modules, SME scorecards

4. Experience of front-line query handling

5. Market knowledge of competition's policies, practices, and regulatory developments

6. Broad understanding of industry evaluation techniques

7. Up to date with latest in the field of FinTech and other credit assessment modules available to strengthen the underwriting framework

8. Credit underwriting experience will be an added advantage

Technical Skills

1. MS Office - Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications is a must

2. Data management and analytics proficiency (medium level)
