Job Title: Head of Procurement (Must Have Barter Sales Experience)
Location: Ridhira Living Pvt Ltd, Nanakaramguda, Hyderabad.
Industry Preference: Real Estate Only.
Position Overview:
The role demands expertise in vendor management, cost control, contract negotiations, and
procurement planning specific to the retail or real estate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with the companys business goals for real estate projects, retail products, and related categories.
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process including vendor identification, selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance management.
- Establish procurement policies, processes, and systems to ensure efficient, transparent, and cost-effective sourcing.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply, quality, and competitive pricing.
- Lead procurement planning in coordination with project teams, operations, design, and finance departments to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
- Monitor procurement budgets, analyze cost-saving opportunities, and ensure compliance with budgetary controls.
- Develop long-term sourcing strategies for key categories like construction materials, interiors, furniture, fixtures, and retail-related inventories.
- Manage procurement risks by evaluating suppliers' financial health, delivery performance, and quality benchmarks.
- Implement technology-driven procurement solutions, ERP systems, and dashboards to improve procurement efficiency.
- Ensure legal compliance in all supplier contracts and procurement activities.
- Regularly report procurement performance, cost savings, supplier scorecards, and procurement KPIs to top management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- Proven track record of handling procurement for large-scale residential/commercial projects or high-volume retail operations.
- Strong experience in vendor negotiations, cost control, strategic sourcing, and contract management.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain systems, and contract laws.
- Proficiency in ERP procurement modules (SAP, Oracle, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Preferred Exposure:
- Knowledge of sustainable and quality procurement standards.
